Abstract:【Abstract】 As the most common complication of diabetes, diabetic nephropathy is also the leading cause of endstage renal disease nowadays. The pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy is complicated, involving multiple mechanisms such as genes, inflammation, immune response and endocrine and so on. However, the specific mechanism has remained unclear yet. It is found that IgG and IgM immuneglobulin exist in the kidney, blood and urine of patients with diabetic nephropathy, which is closely related to the disease progression and prognosis of patients. The paper provides an overview on the research progress of diabetic nephropathy and immunoglobulin.
