Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate whether multimodal functional MRI can be used for early diagnosis and evaluation of the patiente’s condition in T2DM with encephalopathy patients. Methods 49 T2DM patients with encephalopathy in our hospital were divided into A group and B group, according to the time Length of disease start. 21 healthy volunteers were recruited at the same time. Magnetic susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) and MR spectroscopy (MRS) was used to scan the left hippocampus of subjects. There was a correlation between the value of the subjects' phases and the Montreal cognition (MOCA) score. Results The score of MoCA in group A, group B and volunteers were 2833 + 483, 2577 + 512 and 2976 + 221. There was no statistical difference between the three groups (F=5294, P=0016). The SWI phase value, Ins/Cr value and Cho/Cr value of group B were higher than that of A group, and the group A was higher than that of the volunteer group. The value of NAA/Cr in group A was higher than that in group B, but it was significantly lower than that of volunteers. Group A (r=0897, P=0001) and B group (r=0549, P=0008) subjects were positively correlated with MoCA score and SWI phase value, and negatively correlated with Ins/Cr, Cho/Cr and NAA/Cr. Conclusion Multimodal function MRI is helpful for early diagnosis and evaluation of the occurrence of T2DM encephalopathy.
