Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the level and influencing factors of selfperceived burden (SPB) among prostate cancer patients. Methods 115 bladder cancer patients in urology and oncology departments were recruited from some hospital and were investigated with SelfPerceived Burden scale (SPBS). Data were analyzed with OneWay ANOVA, Chisquared test, ttest and Logistic regression. Results SPB was present among 904% patients. Patients' mean SPB score was(3871±1259), which reflected a moderate level of burden. The differences of SPB scores were statistically significant with the following 6 variables: age, income, marital status, payment manner of medical expenses, ability of daily living and bladder cancer clinical stage (P<005). Conclusion SPB is prevalent among prostate cancer patients. It can be influenced by many factors. Nurses should prospectively evaluate patients' SPB level and explore interventions according to these factors in order to improve their quality of life.
