Abstract:Objective With the popularity of chest CT in health checkup, the detection rate of pulmonary nodules was getting higher. The distribution and characteristics of pulmonary nodules in healthy people were analyzed in this study. Methods We detected 5192 f healthy people from January 2016 to January 2017 in Pudong Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and 921 patients of pulmonary nodule. The general data and distribution and characteristics of all patients with pulmonary nodules were further analyzed. Results The detection rate of pulmonary nodules in healthy people was 17.74%. Low dose spiral CT had a advantage in number, size, location, edge, internal and external structures of pulmonary nodules. For example, there were 481 males and 440 females, and pulmonary nodules were common in aged 60 to 80 years. There were 631 cases in single lung, 91 cases of more than 2 nodules in single lung, 197 cases with multiple lungs. There were 316 cases in the upper lobe of lung, 247 cases in the lower lobe, 20 cases in the middle lobe of lung, 90 cases of pleural nodules and 105 cases of other parts (mediastinal, interlobular fissure, oblique fissure, scattered distribution). After further analyzing, there were 35 cases of calcification, 65 cases of ground glass nodule and 6 cases lymph node enlargement. Conclusion The detection rate of pulmonary nodules in Chest CT is high. There is no difference between male and female, and solitary pulmonary nodule is the main, nodule nature of ground glass is more common.
