【Abstract】 Labor Pain, a kind of visceral pain, may cause the adverse pregnancy outcomes. The pain intensity and results of measures to release the pain are associated with maternal physiological, psychological and social factors. The nonpharmacological labor analgesia relieves the labor pain and promote natural delivery by providing women with psychological supports and physiological accommodation. It is a safe, economical and compatible way to improve the pregnancy outcomes and decrease the interventions. We will review the research progress of common methods of nonpharmacological labor analgesia to facilitate the application.
