Abstract:【Abstract】 Fetal growth restriction (GFR) is not uniformly defined. It usually means the estimated fetal weight(EFW) is lower than the 10th percentile of fetal weight at the same gestational age. FGR is one of the important causes of perinatal death and severe neonatal complications. Most of FGR is caused by malfunction of the placenta, and a few are due to congenital malformation, infection, drug abuse and so on. This review will discuss the early judgment of placental dysfunction and ifs relationship with FGR.
