Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To understand the demand situation of medical examination technology talents in Changsha primary health care institutions, and provide scientific reference for the development of talent training programs and curriculum reform for medical examination technology specialty in private colleges and universities. Methods The head of the laboratory and technicians of 59 primary health care institutions from 9 districts and counties in Changsha City were investigated with selfdesigned Questionnaire of demand for medical laboratory technicians in Changsha primary health care institutions. Results 678% of the primary health care institutions in the next 3 to 5 years had medical testing talent demand. The talent introduction through the recruitment of fresh graduates was 4746% and talent market intermediary recruitment was 4068%. The requirement for application type talent was 6610%. Primary health care organizations were concerned about whether they have relevant skills certificates (6271%), professional skills (6102%), educational background (5763%), and good comprehensive quality (4915%). 5593% of the respondents believe that the medical Inspection technology should master the quality of indoor control. The vast majority of primary health care institutions believe that the current medical testing technology graduates. There was shortage of theory and practice out of touch, poor hands and poor ability to adapt, accounting for 5085%, 3220% and 3220 % recognition rate. Conclusion The demand for medical examination personnel in Changsha primary health care institutions is unsaturated. The major of medical laboratory technology should train the applied technicians with high comprehensive quality, rich knowledge of inspection and skilled vocational skills in order to meet the needs of the primary medical and health institutions.
