Abstract:【Abstract】 Key Laboratory of Ultrasound in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Biomechanics Ultrasonic irradiation might increase the membrane permeability of myocardial cell and change the function of transmembrane ion transport channel, and would lead to an obvious change of depolarization and repolarization of membrane and inner concentration distribution of ions related force of myocardial cells finally. The existed biological effect of ultrasound irradiation might impact on the contractility of myofibrils within myocardial cells during systole and finally induce a change of myocardial contraction force in different ways regionally and globally. In recent years, the related experimental and clinical research results partly confirmed that the above biological effect of ultrasonic irradiation induced positive myocardial inotropic action of ultrasound. This commentary systematically reviews the existing research achievements in the field to provide the basis and clinical research fundament for establishing a new noninvasive physical treatment of heart failure further.
