【Abstract】 Objective Through the exploration of nursing measures for elderly patients with prostate arterial embolization, depression and anxiety were restrained, and the improvement of quality of life were promoted. Method 51 elderly patients with prostate hyperplasia underwent arterial embolization were enrolled in this study. They were randomly divided into observation group (26 cases) and control group (25 cases), according to the order of hospitalization treatment. The control group was treated with conventional symptomatic treatment and conventional nursing measures. The observation group was treated with conventional symptomatic treatment and comprehensive nursing. The anxiety and depression, and improve the treatment compliance, nursing satisfaction and quality of life were observed. Results The scores of SDS and SAS in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life, the satisfaction of the nursing and the treatment compliance of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing can not only significantly improve the depression and anxiety of elderly patients with prostate arterial embolization, but also improve the quality of life, treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction, and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
