Abstract:【Abstract】〓Objective〓To determine the value of twodimensional ultrasound (2DUS) combined threedimensional ultrasound (3DUS) in diagnosing of fetal limb distal deformity. Methods〓Prenatal ultrasound data of 310 patients with fetal limb distal deformity diagnosed in followup were retrospectively analyzed. The diagnostic accuracy of 2DUS and 2DUS combined 3DUS were compared. Results〓Among the 310 cases of limb distal deformity, there were 33 cases with aplasia of radius, 23 cases with abnormal hand posture, 7 cases with syndactyly, 7 cases with polydactyly of fingers, 6 cases with ectrodactyly of finger, 17 cases with achiria, 1 case with polydactyly of toes, 1 case with ectrodactyly of toe, 214 cases with clubfoot, 1 case with sirenomelia sequence. 280 cases were diagnosed by 2DUS with accuracy rate of 899% (280/310) and 303 cases were diagnosed by 2DUS combined 3DUS with accuracy rate of 977% (303/310). The difference was statistically significant (P<005). Conclusion〓2DUS combined with 3DUS can improve diagnostic accuracy for detecting fetal limb distal deformity.
