Abstract:【Abstract】Objective To investigate clinical application values and meaning of cystatin C and PLT counting in hepatic cirrhosis. Methods Relationship between PLT counting and cystatin C of 116 patients with hepatic cirrhosis was analyzed. ChildPugh grading was used to evaluate the liver functions of patients with hepatic cirhosis with receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) and the value of them in patients with hepatic cirhosis. Results Significant inverse correlation were found between PLT counting and cystatin C (r=﹣0.89,P<0.01). Cystatin C increased with ChildPugh classification escalating (P<0.01). Cystatin C offered positive correlation with the childPugh integral (r=0.821,P<0.01). The areas of 1/PLT and cystatin C under ROC curve were 083 and 085. There were statistically significant differences in terms of the areas under ROC curve (Z=5.32,P=0.51). Conclusion Cystatin C and PLT counting can sensitively reflect of the changes of liver function, and are closely related. The combination application of cystatin C and PLT counting can accurately predict the degree of liver damage and the severity of the disease and have important reference value in guiding clinical diagnosis and treatment of hepatic cirrhosis.
