Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the value of MRI LAVA sequence in diagnosing intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma (IHPCC).Methods The imaging data of 36 patients with intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma were analyzed. Both CT and MRI were performed plain and dynamic enhanced in all patients. The MRI dynamic enhanced were performed by LAVA.Results CT nonenhanced scanning showed that the lesions of IHPCC was approxinately equal density or low density. On the other hands, MRI nonenhanced scanning showed all lesions showed mixed hyperintensity at main body on T2WI in 36 patients, and low signals at centre area were found in 21 patients. The bile duct dilatation of The lesion was showed on T2WI in 19 patients and 16 on CT, The bile duct dilatation of the lesion was showed on LAVA dynamic enhanced MRI in 22 patients, in MRI thirtytwo patients extended enhancement scope to center in portal and delayed phase, but no central enhancement in delayed phase in 4 patients. The accuracy of MRI with LAVA was 91.6%. Conclusion Thin bile duct dilatation of the lesions can be showed at MRI LAVA sequence or its reconstruction, more faster scaning speed, more better showed of the enhanced features of intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma (IHPCC). The MRI LAVA sequence is an effective method in the diagnosis of intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma.
