Abstract:【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo explore the value of the selfmade gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent combined with intravenous contrast enhanced ultrasound in the diagnosis of gastric cancer and T staging. Methods The commercially available yam powder and black sesame paste were used as raw material. The different combinations were compared with the “TianXia” brand gastrointestinal contrast agent, and the most suitable combination was selected. One hundred and fiftyone patients of gastric cancer diagnosed by pathological examination were performed ultrasonography using oral selfmade gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent alone and combined with intravenous contrast enhanced ultrasound. The results of the diagnosis of gastric cancer and T staging were compared with postoperative pathologic findings. Results The ultrasonic contrast zone image histogram peak position of brand black sesame paste combination agents was 20.4±2.3db, and the width was 10.3±1.8db. There was no significant different between brand black sesame paste combination agents and “TianXia” brand gastrointestinal contrast agent. Of the 151 patients, 101 patients were diagnosed with gastric cancer detected by ultrasonography using simple oral selfmade gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent, the accuracy rate was 66.89%, and 128 patients were diagnosed with gastric cancer detected by using double contrast gastrointestinal ultrasonography, The accuracy rate was 84.77%. Of the 151 patients underwent gastric cancer, the number of clinical stage T1, T2 and T3+T4 were 45, 65 and 41, respectively. The accuracy number was 24, 46 and 31, respectively in ultrasonography using oral selfmade gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent alone group. The total accuracy rate was 66.89%(T1 53.33%, T2 70.77% and T3+T4 75.61%, respectively). The accuracy number was 33, 56 and 39, respectively in double contrast gastrointestinal ultrasound group. The total accuracy rate was 84.77% (T1 73.33%, T2 86.15% and T3+T4 95.12%, respectively). The accuracy rate of double contrast gastrointestinal ultrasound group was higher than ultrasonography using oral selfmade gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent alone group (P<0.05). Conclusion The brand black sesame paste combination agent can be used as a gastrointestinal ultrasound contrast agent for the diagnosis of stomach diseases and combined with intravenous contrast enhanced ultrasound had a high accuracy rate of diagnosis of gastric cancer and T staging and it is worth extending in clinical.
