Abstract:【Abstract】 Because of the high morbidity and mortality, the hidden incidence and the fast progress of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), most of HCC patients are in middle or late stage and the treatment of it is a worldwide problem. Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with comprehensive minimally invasive intervention has gradually replaced surgical treatment, especially TACE combined with microwave coagulation therapy (PMCT), plays an important role in the treatment of HCC. TACE combined with PMCT has been widely accepted, due to its simple operation, safe and effective and wide indication etc. In this paper, it intends to be a briefly review on the principles, methods, indications, complications and prognosis of TACE combined with PMCT treatment of liver cancer.
