Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To Investigate the value of diagnosing cat-scratch lymphadenitis (CSD) using high frequency color Doppler ultrasound. Methods 8 cases with lymphadenitis confirmed by needle biopsy and surgery causing by CSD from February 2014 to August 2014 were analyzed. The number, size, shape, distribution, change of the echo and blood flow of lymph node were observed. Results The increscent lymph nodes in the newly diagnosed 8 cases with CSD by high frequency color Doppler ultrasound were mainly distributed in the neck, armpits, upper limbs and groins. There were 4 cases with the increscent lymph nodes in only one part of bodies, and 4 cases in multiple parts of bodies. Some increscent lymph nodes were surrounding by small lymph nodes. The increscent lymph nodes were mostly low echo or very low echo. The corticomedullary differentiation was not clear. The increscent lymph nodes were spherical, oval or lobulated in shape, and blood flow. Conclusion It is a quick and easy method of diagnosing the CSD using high frequency color Doppler ultrasound with the medical history of pet scratched or contacted. Followup confirms that high frequency color Doppler ultrasound diagnosis coincided with the laboratory examination diagnosis and clinical diagnosis. It can give the main reference for clinical work.
