【Abstract】 As a new neural electrophysiological technology, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (RTMS) has developed based on the transcranial magnetic stimulation. This technology has been performed on the basis of electromagnetic induction principle, which works by noninvasively stimulating the cortex of the brain, to change the excitation of the stimulated anatomic area and its connecting cortex. In this paper, stimulating parameters of the repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for the treatment of insomnia are generally reviewed.
