Abstract:【Abstract】 Liver fibrosis is the common pathological changes of a variety of chronic liver diseases. The early liver fibrosis is reversible, and then early diagnosis of liver fibrosis can be helpful for timely and effectively intervening the progression of fibrosis and the occurrence of liver cirrhosis or liver cancer. However, the golden standard for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis is biopsy. Because of invasive nature of biopsy, a noninvasive and repeatable quantitative examination technology is needed to diagnose liver fibrosis. As a noninvasive method, magnetic resonance imaging is a technology with no radiation, high resolution of tissue and good repeatability of measurement, and the hardware and software have been upgraded. Magnetic resonance imaging of liver fibrosis has become a hot research theme during recent years. In this paper, we will review the current status of magnetic resonance imaging in liver fibrosis.
