Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect of global type of nursing mode in patients 80 years of age or older with colonoscopy. Methods 60 patients with electronic colonoscopy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing and the experimental group received global type of nursing mode. The level of tension, anxiety, fear, check tolerability, and satisfaction of patients were compared between the two groups. Colonoscopy at the ileocecal valve required. Moreover, the time to ileocecal valve was also compared. Results All patients successfully completed examination. The tension, anxiety, fear, check tolerability, and satisfaction of patients in the experimental group were significantly improved (P<005). The time to ileocecal valve was also decreased in the experimental group (P<005). Conclusion In electronic colonoscopy examination, the global type of nursing mode can improve the tolerance of examination and shorten the time of diagnosis and treatment. It is conducive to the successful completion of the inspection process. The nursing quality and patients′ medical security is also improved. At last, satisfaction rate of patients received global type of nursing mode is higher than that of control group.
