【Abstract】 Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Shaohuang laxative agent on the treatment of opioid drugs induced constipation of Qizi type. Method 128 cancer patients with of Qizi type constipation caused by opium analgesics were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Treatment group was treated with Shaohuang laxative agent. Control group was treated by pill of aucklandia and areca seed. Clinical efficacy was evaluated with improvement of constipation symptom and TCM syndromes. Result The total effect rate of improvement of constipation symptom in treat group and control group were 8065% and 6393% (P＜005). The total effect rate of TCM symptom in treat group and control group were 8387% and 6230% (P＜005). Conclusion Shaohuang laxative agent can effectively relieve opioid drugs induced constipation in Qizi type and significantly improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients.
