Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of glycolic acid with made in China combined with squeezing comedones or pustules and Fuxidi acid cream in the treatment of mild and moderate acne vulgaris. Methods 96 patients with acne vulgaris were randomly divided into glycolic acid peeling group (32 cases), Fuxidi acid cream group (32 cases)and combination group(32 cases). The glycolic acid peeling group was treated with a series of Weinuona alpha hydroxy acid of made in China with different concentrations every two weeks at least 5 sessions. The Fuxidi acid cream group was treated with squeezing comedones or pustules every two weeks and Topical Fuxidi acid cream twice per day. The combination group was treated with a joint aforementioned two methods. 3 groups of patients were treated for 10 consecutive weeks. The total efficiency rate and safety were compared by the number of comedones, papules and pustules which were counted and recorded after the experiment of the third, seventh, ninth and twelfth weeks. Results The total efficiency rate of the three groups was 933%, 70.0% and 40.0%, respectively. There was significantly different efficacy among the three group. The total efficiency rate of the glycolic acid peeling group and the Fuxidi acid cream group were significant difference at the third week end. In the seventh week, the efficacy of the combination group had better trend the glycolic acid peeling group, but there was not statistical different. There had not serious side reactions during entire treatment. Conclusion The Weinuona alpha hydroxy acid made in China is an effective and safety method for mild and moderate acne vulgaris. That alpha glycolic acid peeling combined with squeezing comedones or pustules and Fuxidi acid cream can further improve the efficacy and shorten the onset time and reduce recurrence.
