【Abstract】 Objective To observe the clinical effect and side effect of sphincter section cut and longitudinal cutting transverse suture for circumferential mixed hemorrhoid. Method 80 patients with circumferential mixed hemorrhoids were randomly divided into control group (40 cases) and observation group (40 cases). The control group was treated with external dissection and internal ligation (MilliganMorgan). The observation group was treated with sphincter section cut and longitudinal cutting transverse suture. Results The degree of postoperative constipation, and degree of postoperative edema of observation group were better than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05). The degree of injury, cure rate and recurrence rate of control group and observation group were not different (P＞005).Conclusion It is effective to treat circumferential mixed hemorrhoids with sphincter section cut and longitudinal cutting transverse suture.
