Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To study the correlation among plasma homocysteine (Hcy) level and CAD in Han Population of Northeast Sichuan. Methods A casecontrol study design was adopted. The study population was Han Population of Northeast Sichuan from inpatients of Central Hospital of Nanchong from March 2013 to August 2014. They were divided into CADe group and control group according to clinical symptoms, ECG, serum myocardial enzymes and coronary angiography. Results The plasma Hcy level in the CAD group (1539±689 μmol/L) was higher than that in control group (1290±644 μmol/L) (P<005). The plasma Hcy level in 1 vessel lesions, 2 vessels lesions and 3 vessels lesions were 1387±499 μmol/L, 1581±814 μmol/L and 1774±715 μmol/L (P<005).The plasma Hcy level instable angina pectoris (SAP), unstable angina pectoris (UAP), ischemic cardiomyopathy and acute myocardial infarction (AMI)were 1236±45 μmol/L, 1490±629 μmol/L, 1539±680 μmol/L and 1649±766 μmol/L.The plasma Hcy level in AMI patients was the higher than that of the others (P<005). Conclusion Hcy is risk factor for CAD in Han Population of Northeast Sichuan.
