【Abstract】 The incidence and mortality of cardiovascular events caused by atherosclerosis are the focus of current social health problems. Although the drug and interventional measures against atherosclerosis has obtained remarkable achievements, but due to the nosogenesis of this disease is still not welldefined, resulting in many uncertain and controversial control programme. Latest related studies on atherosclerosis in the genome, transcriptome, cell biology and biological markers are review in this article, hoping to shed some light on the new strategies for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.
